J.R. Burdette
J.R. Burdette has over thirty years of experience in land development, commercial and residential, sales, leasing and acquisitions. Prior to joining Coldwell Banker Commercial Elite, Burdette was the Acquisitions representative and Project Manager with duties expanding into sales and leasing with Silver Companies from 2006-2013. With Silver Companies he later became a licensed Sales Associate with Silver Commercial Brokerage. Specializing in land, contract negotiations, site location and consulting; represents principles as buyers, tenants, sellers and landlords. Has located or sold sites for physicians, spas/health and fitness users, big box, convenience stores, fast food
restaurants, auto repair, contractors, developers, investors, churches, marinas, sports clubs and state and local governments.
Mr. Burdette started his real estate career in 1983 with one of Silver’s Land and Timber companies as a sales agent and later became the Acquisitions Manager. From 1987 until 2006, he was the Owner and President of MBM Land Sales Inc. which operated in the Fredericksburg, Virginia area and surrounding counties and also in southwest Florida.
Prior to working in real estate, he served in the U.S. Army as a Military Police Investigator and duties included providing personal security for the Deputy Commander in Chief of NATO while stationed at European Headquarters command in Stuttgart, Germany. Mr. Burdette then served active duty in the local National Guard with its headquarters in Fredericksburg, Virginia.
